Riding the Beemer on my day off!

In preparation for its first service I took the Beemer for a back road run in SC this morning. Only 34deg F but brilliant. Did 20 miles off road and ended up at this place Brazelmans Bridge in the Sumter National Forest.

The Enoree River.

An old Church yard and the site of one of the earliest Methodist Churches in the SE. The Beemer parked next to the monument.

Boxes Arrived and Onboard

Preparing for Daytona - just over a week away!!!!

Pride of place in the garage with its room mates.

'14 BMW next to the '74 Kettle, 40 years between them but both brilliant bikes.

Beemer on Evening Run to get miles on for 1st Service

Next to a boat ramp on Lake Murray

She's on the surface she's designed to be ridden on.

Rode the Conc on this a few times and a little iffy but this thing is rock solid - incredible.

Well after 13 years of pontificating about getting a GS Adventure following drooling over a 1150 PD in Sturgis 2001 I have took the plunge.  A fitting replacement for the Conc.

Boxes and top case arrive next week (March '15) c/w back rest and liners.

First service in Charlotte booked already prior to the annual Daytona trip.

Has all the bells and whistles from BMW plus a lot of Touratech stuff.

Even Cuppy likes it.  Spent most of Saturday cleaning up the garage to make its home more comfortable.
