Moto GP 2nd Round Jerez Spain, 03/30/08

Great race toady, not so much for the top position, Pedrosa ran away with it in front of his home fans but a great fight for 4th through 9th. If the rest of the races turn out like this one it's going to be one hell of a season.

Good old Toseland came in 6th after just losing out to Capirossi for 5th. It's only his second GP and he has scored in both on a Yamaha that has still to get this years engine.

Poor old (young) Casey Stoner (current World Champion) could only finish 11th (5 points) after going off the circuit twice on the same bend but fortuntely not binning it.

Result Jerez:

1st. Pedrosa (Sp) Repsol Honda
2nd. Rossi (It) Fiat Yamaha
3rd. Lorenzo (Sp) Fiat Yamaha
4th. Haydon (US) Repsol Honda
5th. Capirossi (It) Rizla Suzuki
6th. Toseland (GB) Tech3 Yamaha
7th. Hopkins (US) Kawasaki
